Jocelyn and Facebook

I'm gonna be honest, It's a little weird to not be checking my Facebook right now. However, I'll get over it. It's gonna be good for me!

Today was a LOVELY day. I literally do not even have one complaint.
It was 70 something degrees outside, I looked pretty cute, classes flew by, and I went to a Jocelyn house show.
They're a band from Iowa that my roommate Megan is obsessed with. They're not huge yet, but they've only been around about a year and a half. They kinda have a All Time Low or The Cab sound.
Honestly, they're lead guitarist/BGV has a better voice than Landen (the lead singer) in my personal  opinion, however they're both good. It was cool to talk to people from Iowa again. Reminds me how different they are, even though Nashville is super friendly as well.
The show was SUPER fun.
They showed up at the house party (We basically paid $400 for them to do a two hour acoustic set, then just hang out with us). Well - I only paid $25 of it lol. . . but anyway. We played board games, ate pizza, then they played, and we just kinda talked for a while. They're in their twenties, but Josh (the BGV) and Steve (their secondary guitar player) were so cool and reminded me SO MUCH of my friends from home! Just they're chill personalities. Loved it. 


Watching them play though. . . 
It reminded me about how much passion singing gives me.
I'm going to take the time I save not going on Facebook, and put it toward learning guitar.
I always say it, but I have really been lacking motivation to put a lot of time and effort into it.
That's about to change.

Anyway, so I am going to be making myself up a new schedule tomorrow or Sunday, so I make sure I have time to work, workout, do homework, practice vocally, and practice instrumentally, and obviously go to class.

Think I can do it? Wish me luck. I know you're all my biggest fans.
