I hope you're all enjoying your long weekend.
Take a moments and think about how awesome MLK was. . .
(Say a prayer or take a few seconds to be grateful)
Okay, so anyway.
Yesterday I planned a lovely lunch with my EAC. This stands for "Early Arrival Crew". During my orientation in June, there were a few of us who came the night before actual orientation and stayed on campus. There was a group that hung out that night, that got along really well.
Well that group got together the first week of school to go out to eat, and we went out yesterday too!
Many of us have not lost contact, but we've hardly ever hung out together. A few of us are roommates, (for example me and Megan, also Hannah and Emily), so in general at least one person has stayed in contact at least weekly with someone else in the EAC.
We hit it off as a group in June, and getting together yesterday really reminded me why. They are just some lovely people.
It just goes to show that even if life get's hectic sometime, it's great to catch up with old friends.
I'm attaching a few photos below of the lovely lunch date we all had yesterday at Chagos (a Mexican restaurant down the street.)
| Hannah (Alaska) and I |
| Taylor (Florida) and Paul (D.C) |
