Hello lovely family and friends!
I'm so sorry for the delay in the post for this week! I got a sinus infection on Saturday and have not been feeling fantastic. To top it off, I've been super busy this week! I promise on Friday I'll write a super long and detailed post on my life to keep your hearts at bay.
I'd also like to apologize that the weekly video from this last week is not up yet. I've been working on it, but for some reason my computer won't let me save it! I need to just start over and make it, but I've been so busy, that I just have not found the time! This last weeks video is all the stuff from homecoming, so it doesn't help that it's pretttyyy freakin long.
To give you a mini update, the video will include many videos from "Battle of the Bruins", which is a talent show that all the different sports teams put on to raise money for the Special Olympics. It was fantastic! Also there was a group made up of people with special needs ( I believe many of them had down syndrome), but they sang a few songs to thank us for raising the money for them. Mom, if you're reading this I just know you're going to cry when watching that part of the video! Most of the audience was crying when it was happening.
Another big part of the video is the Alumni Concert. We had people come in such as Ricky Skaggs and Peter Frampton. It was a pretty great show. To top it off it was acoustic, and y'all should know that I LOVE acoustic music!
Anyway, I hope you all are having a lovely week so far! I promise I'll update y'all on Friday with a nice and witty post. The weekly video WILL also be up then (from last week) and I'll be sure to put the current week's weekly video up on Sunday or Monday!
